Job Description:  SEI National Rental Account Executive

This National Rental Account Executive is responsible for connecting SEI’s RENTAL Products and Services with local and national customers. Your job is to find new customers in Destination Management, Event Planning, Trade Shows, Event Coordination, Special Events, Disaster Recovery Planning, Enterprise and more.  This can be a really fun and lucrative career. 

Responsibilities:

SEI is looking for a bright go-getter to join our family. We are looking for a salesperson that is hardworking, honest, persistent, not afraid to cold call and has some grit.  Candidates will provide rental customers in large or small venue events with short-term rental services of Motorola two-way radio communication equipment.

Must be able to compile lists of prospective customers for sales leads based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, card deck leads, aged leads, dealer resellers, business directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.  Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone, email, and in person to qualify leads and sell products and services.  Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.  Overcome prospective customers’ technical and business objections. Provide product demos to qualified customers on request.  Emphasize sales features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.  Estimate date of delivery to customers based on your knowledge of our production and delivery schedules.  Build and maintain customer relationships.

Prepare pipeline and sales activity reports of business transactions. Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into CRM.  Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.  Prepare all quotes and orders and make sure they get to purchasing. Deliver orders to the customer directly.  Responsible for collecting all receivables on time. Receive payment or obtain credit authorization. Programming of two-way radios. Provide proper FCC licensing.  Prepare sales presentations. Use CRM customer database for sales funnel. Process orders for installation. Attend weekly sales meetings. Attend ongoing sales workshops and training seminars. Make a minimum of 60 new, as well as existing customer calls, per week. Work as a team player.

Must be willing to work both smart and hard. SEI is looking for a motivated, enthusiastic RENTAL Account Executive who will pick up the phone and dial, knock on doors and close business. Warm leads are provided. You are expected to use our CRM daily for tracking and reporting your sales activity, pipeline, and appointments.

Our culture is a mix of independent self-starters who work well in a team environment. You are expected to do your phone and computer canvasing from the office in Broward County full time.  After a probationary period of one month, and demonstrating that you can close deals,  you can earn the flexibility of working from home. The National RENTAL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE can call anywhere in the US.  

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Cold calling, will hunt new opportunities
  • Data entry and update CRM on a daily basis
  • Occasional travel to conventions and trade shows. Will be on site for larger events

  • 2+ years’ experience in sales
  • Experience in events industry, event staffing, trade shows. Event and show management preferred

Radio Communications Service Technician / RF Technician+

Job Description: Radio Communications Service Technician / RF Technician

The Service Technician will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and programming wireless communication equipment such as 2-way radios, transmitters, receivers, and antennas for customers.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Be able to repair portable, mobile, and repeaters at board and component level
  • Process warranty equipment as a Motorola service center
  • Tune duplexers and test/verify proper operation with repeaters
  • Design, create and update code plugs
  • Build and repair RF cables for inventory and rentals
  • Create interface cables for vendor products, i.e., Zetron, Motorola, Kenwood, etc.
  • Provide field service and support for various repeater systems
  • Support for Coast Guard NAIS system
  • After hours on-call support
  • Repeater and BDA system installs
  • Mobile system installs including GPS
  • Surveys to evaluate current systems and provide solutions
  • Hospital support of Medcom system
  • Onsite programming and system updates
  • Out of state and country travel for surveys, service, installation, and upgrades
  • Design, setup and test new equipment for functionality and determine the capability of the equipment
  • Engineering and design of DAS for 800MHz BDA systems
  • Provide consultation for sales product, and capabilities
  • Revision of quotes and equipment for a successful execution of purposed solutions
  • Assist sales with the programming of customer equipment
  • Onsite meetings with sales reps for support

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of technical experience a plus
  • The ability to juggle and follow through on multiple projects simultaneously
  • The knack of remaining cool under pressure or deadlines
  • The ability to problem solve issues that come up suddenly
  • Team player and able to follow instructions
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year College or vocational school in electronics and wireless system repair is preferred but not required
  • Must be technically savvy
  • Does not mind repetitive work
  • Focused and detail-oriented

  • Filling out and completing time sheets, job tickets, data entry

As a team member of the Sales Department, you will be instrumental in helping our Account Executives drive revenue growth with your support skills.
